My Village Show is a product of Lune Production, featuring delicately the poetic Vietnamese village through its stunning cirque.
The world-class spectacle Lang Toi (My Village) bringing truly sensational cultural experiences is a not-to-be-missed thing if one who want to embrace the vivid Vietnamese culture.
Throughout the 60-minute show, you will be taken to Northern Vietnam villages from fishing, farming to traditional games or family gathering with graceful stroked by marvelous acrobatics. The show with its new-circus approach is presented which encompasses many art genres, such as breathtaking cirque, stunning juggling and contortion will take viewers from one surprise to another.
The main materials in My Village Show are Bamboo. Bamboo trees have long been associated with Vietnamese rural villages. To Vietnamese people, bamboo is the soul of Vietnamese rural land, symbolizing the vitality, which can resist against strong wind and storm. Throughout Lang Toi – My village, the talents with their acrobatic skills turn the straight bamboo props into peaceful rivers and spectacular mountains. The show is really intense and engaging which makes you feel the emotions of the performers.

So friendly, we were greeted at the door and straight to some refreshments. Interactive display in the foyer. The theatre is lovely and cosy. The performance itself was way above our expectations, we thoroughly enjoyed every moment
I had pre-booked us tickets for a performance of “My Village” which was a Vietnamese Culture Show at the Hanoi Opera House in the French Quarter. We were provided with iced tea while we waited for the doors to the theatre to open. Once inside, we marvelled at the elaborate design of the interior of the theatre. The show itself was fantastic, jaw-dropping event. Circus-like using only lengths of bamboo as props, I was completely enthralled.
Lang Toi – My Village Show Schedule
The Lang Toi – My Village Show is only performed several nights a week at two different locations, which are Hanoi Opera House and Hanoi Vietnam Tuong Theater. If you stay around Hanoi Old Quarter, it is should be easy to find these locations, take a private hire vehicle or taxi directly to the theater.

How to Book Lang Toi – My Village Show
The official price for Lang Toi – My Village Show is from 700,000 VND ( roughly around $30 ) which is a little high by Vietnam standards for a 1-hour show but believe me, it is definitely worth it a try!
There are three kinds of seats which is “ahh” “ wow” and “ ooh” with 700,000 VND 1600,000 and 1,150,000 VND respectively + plus you have a chace to walk around to see Hanoi Opera House ( The inside of the Opeara House is absolutely beautiful).
Important notes before you go to enjoy My Village Show:
- There is also a complimentary pre-drinks before the show.
- You should go to the theater 30 minutes before the show. Once you get to there, simply show your mobile ticket or printed voucher to the staff in the check-in counter.
- Please seated 15 mins before the show starts
